Knowledge & Resources

The stock market is a hobby where you can earn something in addition to having fun. So that you don't make the same mistakes as me (but others) I give you the resources for self-reliant investing here. Since I am convinced that you can achieve better performance with individual investments than with passive strategies (ETFs), this is the focus. But for the ETF lovers, I've also put together a few sources. If you have any questions/suggestions about a topic, just use the contact form and I'll see what I can do in time.

Web pages

I do read and write on a few stock market forums and honestly it's also one of my main sources (alongside company reports, AGMs, IR talks and investor days) to keep up with my values. I can also recommend the following websites:

1. https://www.wallstreet-online.de/diskussion/937146-1-10/deutsche-small-caps-basisinvestments-eines-langfristdepots (Users who belong to the "good" here: small boss, Katjuscha-research, JohannesWild, street dog, street dog, Moneymakerzzz, Comedy, Lynvestor)

If you have a great website then please write to me! I'll take a look and add it to it.

Youtubekanäle

there are a few channels that deal with investing and so far I have found very little that I would say "hands off". I can definitely recommend the following channels - because I subscribed to them myself :)

Philipp Haas - investresearch TV: https://www.youtube.com/c/InvestresearchNet

Books

I would recommend these books to anyone who wants to learn about the basics of the stock market (you can tell by the short list: I tend to read fewer books on investing myself...)

1. Exchange for dummies
A great beginner's book to understand the basics of how the stock market actually works

2.The intelligent investor
THE required reading for every stock picker. Great at explaining how to tell good companies from bad
